How To Use A Gift Card:
You man purchase any quantity of giftcards in any denomination just like any other product by selecting the appropriate radio button and quantity in the quantity box.
After making payment and upon returning from the payment page, a unique Giftcard code will be generated and included in the confirmation email that is sent to notify you of the successful purchase. These Giftcard codes are enabled to be used within our store for purchases.
To redeem the Giftcard, the person you present with the code must simply register and shop in our store just like they would normally do. During the checkout process, while viewing the shopping cart, there is a clearly viewed section to input the giftcard code in the same way that one would input a coupon code. If the Giftcard is valid and still has money remaining, the sub-total will be reduced in the shopping cart by the remaining value or subtotal value, whichever is less.
For instance, if a customer has a $50.00 giftcard and the subtotal is $35.00, the cart will show that the new subtotal is $0.00, Giftcard amount redeemed will show as $35.00 and Giftcard amount remaining will be $15.00 (all this information is shown in real time when viewing the cart).
Upon successful payment, the giftcard amount used will be deducted from the giftcard. The remaining amount will be available for the next order.
If the Giftcard value is greater then the order total, including shipping, the customer will not have to go through PayPal payment gateway, rather they will be informed that there will not be a "charge" for the order and directed to the "payment complete" screen.
